This retreat for women was a unique opportunity to relax, rejuvenate, and learn about stress and the canine brain with Dr. Melanie Uhde of Canine Decoded.
Our activities included jungle hiking with cats, a visit to the PATA Samara Animal Rescue dog refuge, a riverside coffee scrub below a beautiful waterfall, Dr. Uhde's presentation on the neurobiology of stress, and plenty of beach time.
And of course, many interactions with, and observations of, our fascinating free-roaming zaguates!

Our first women's retreat included exciting exploration, deep relaxation, and learning with Aimee Sadler from Dogs Playing for Life.
Our activities included a thrilling ATV tour, a luxurious spa day, a visit to the PATA Samara Animal Rescue dog refuge, a rejuvenating soak in a hot spring with a volcanic mud mask, and a huge waterfall hike with hanging bridges.
The zaguates did not fail to disappoint with their antics on the beach and in town, and everyone went home relaxed and rejuvenated. 🐾
